![]() In 2005, he received his
bachelor’s degree (Magna cum Laude) and continued his studies at WVU pursuing
his Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance.
During his Master’s Degree, Zaczkiewicz served as Graduate Assistant for
the WVU Percussion Studio under the direction of Professor George R.
Willis. His duties included conducting
the WVU Percussion Ensemble, teaching Applied Lessons to undergraduate Percussion
Majors, Percussion Pedagogy, as well as administrative duties. In his first year of Graduate study
Zaczkiewicz served as President/co-Founder of the West Virginia Percussion
Society which became a successful student organization on the campus of WVU. ![]() ![]() Russell Camper Jr. was born on January 25, 1982 in Salisbury, Md. Russell received his education in the Wicomico County School System. He graduated from Parkside High School in June 2000. While attending Parkside High he was in symphonic and marching band. In his junior and senior years he was named percussion captain. Parkside High had a band council of which Russell was a member. Russell also received the John Phillip Sousa Award. During the 2004-2006 symphonic and Marching seasons, Russell served on the staff as the band’s videographer. He currently serves on staff as the percussion instructor. ![]() ![]() Mike Ashmead is currently employed at Howard County Public Schools in which he teaches Advanced Placement and Gifted and Talented Chemistry at Atholton HS. Mike is currently the program/visual designer for Parkside High School and is an avid Judge in the National Judges Association within the Tournament of Bands Circuit. ![]() |
